Steam Accounts being hacked for phishing scheme

I have been informed by our Founder, {JOC}Miglio, that accounts are being hacked and links in the Steam browser are being used for phishing schemes.

Phishing schemes are schemes that involve getting private information, generally credit card numbers fraudulantly.

Bottom line: If you use Steam, be aware of this and DO NOT CLICK ON STEAM BROWSER LINKS! Miglio informed me that several Joint Online Community members accounts have been hacked and used for this purpose.

If you believe you have been hacked, contact Steam technical support, but not through the Steam Browser, either via phone or your web browser.

I will update this topic as more information becomes available.
