Hey guys,

First of all i would like to say that I appreciate the fact that you have 2 servers for general and pug usage.

I would like to draw your attention however to a potential that exists for admin abuse.

I have been a member of the pugging community for about 18 months

On the weekend we had a pug at the joc pug server. Septhiroth and myself remained in the server, catching up on things, after another player AWB changed the server to a different map.

Sephiroth and I were kicked from the server, even though we had nothing to do with a map change via RCON.

I then tried to go onto the joc public server, to play on public there, as the lag there is much better than the japlus server.

I was then permanently banned from the joc public server.

This is not a huge issue for me, as i dont play public too often, i mainly pug.

I just wanted to draw ur attention to potential admin abuse, from someone who has the rcon settings.

After my treatment i dont expect this email to be taken seriously, or even to receive impartial judgement.

Hello Aarrgghh, you welcome, long time not see you. Do you use the same nickname? I'll check the log files of the server to see what happened. Usually we don't ban people for no reason, maybe a mistake, dunno now. About PUG server I don't know, we have problem with setting and for sure Rcon don't work there, Shion and I tried to fix yesterday and still it doesn't work.
I kicked and banned a people called "Necromunger" Saturday at midnight I think (GMT+1), he was bad mouthing around on CTF public.
Well, I am sorry, we will investigate, glad to get your report.

stop the bla bla bla, because you are not a saint. you went to JOC ctf server to arghe and bad mouth and i told you all to stop. and i kicked you first, but you come back then i had to ban. well if you have stoped you wont be banned off course. look, that wasnt the first time that you puggers kicked the JOC members from pug server, i was there when some of you kicked andre, and you puggers always change the map when we are playing, that server is not yours, you have to respect when we are playing and we dont want to have the map changed.

what happened that day: Black hole was kicked from pug server, after he said to dont change the map. at the same moment he went to joc ctf server to tell me it and in the same moment i shutdown the server. if he was there he have the guilty. when i got back to game window they was there arguing and talking shits. i kiked then they get back so i banned. you didnt had time to check JA+ server as you said, you went to joc ctf to argue. next time respect us, and nothing will happen to you.

Well, I didn't know this story. I don't see any admin abuse. Just bad mouthing is not allowed in JOC game servers and forums, also the abuse of vote commands.
We thank you for your point of view, hopefully this problem doesn't break any friendship. You are welcome Smile
